This Aisin Towmaster transmission is designed to handle the output of modified engines, featuring a proprietary, hardened billet K2 hub and billet K3 drum to eliminate the primary failure points of the transmission. Using these billet components the clutch capacity has been increased in K2, K3 and B1 clutch packs to increase torque capacity and durability. An upgraded valve body with a new stiffer pressure regulator spring to increase max line pressure and improve clutch apply. The deep sump pan enhances fluid cooling, and custom nitrile gaskets offer leak-free performance compared to OEM cork gaskets. Great for those with modified trucks looking to replace their transmission with a heavy-duty alternative, and the peace of mind knowing common failures have been corrected. The Towmaster Aisin includes an OE style ProForce torque converter.
