D-Mat solves the need for a lightweight heat barrier and insulation for headliners, doors, trunks, rear bulk heads & more. Advanced Thermal-Acoustic insulation designed for under head liners, doors, package trays and other areas. Extremely light weight and pliable D-Mat is the perfect choice for these areas. At only 12MM thick, compressible and pliable, D-Mat can be used in even the most difficult areas to insulate providing thermal protection and keeping your interior cool. Made from a polymer blend with a scrim backing D-Mat can be used in applications up to 325°F while showing up to an 65% reduction in heat. D-Mat has exceptional acoustic absorption, meets flammability rating and is mildew and bacteria resistant. D-Mat is recommended for all high performance applications including show vehicles, project cars and trucks, muscle cars, street rods and vintage vehicles; most any application or location except for the floor where Boom Mat's Under Carpet Lite is preferable. Installation InstructionsWe will be temporarily closed from Monday 10th August until Friday 21st August 2026 while we relocate to our new premises and carry out our annual stock take. Our website will remain open and you are welcome to place orders during this period. However, new orders placed between 11th and 21st August will not be processed or dispatched until we reopen. Please note: Any orders currently open and already in our system will continue to be processed as normal and will not be affected by the temporary closure.
