Das Design von BD leitet das Öl zurück auf das Tellerrad und in das Ritzel, um eine längere Lebensdauer und Kühlung zu gewährleisten. Andere Differentialdeckel sind groß und sperrig, wodurch Schmieröl vom Tellerrad geschleudert wird, was zusätzliche Hitze und/oder Verschleiß verursacht.
