Durante el desarrollo de los sistemas de escape AWE 2.0T Q5 con software de rendimiento, se presentaron altas temperaturas del aire de admisión. El intercooler de montaje frontal de serie no puede enfriar eficazmente la carga de admisión a ese nivel de rendimiento, lo que permite que las temperaturas aumenten y afecten el rendimiento a medida que aumentan las rpm. Con esto en mente, AWE se propuso desarrollar el intercooler de montaje frontal Q5 para volver a controlar las temperaturas de admisión. AWE empleó un software de modelado CAD para diseñar un intercooler que utiliza un paquete de tanque final / núcleo significativamente más grande que el de serie, al tiempo que se esforzaba por reutilizar las mangueras y abrazaderas robustas de fábrica para mantener bajos los costos. Este diseño de tanque final es un ganador comprobado y se usa en múltiples plataformas. Si bien AWE sabía que este motor funcionaba muy caliente y realmente podría beneficiarse de un intercooler mejorado, los resultados de la prueba fueron impactantes. El AWE FMIC pudo reducir las temperaturas del aire de admisión (IAT) en un máximo de 31 grados F con respecto al de serie, ¡una diferencia de casi el 25%! La caída masiva en las IAT producirá un rendimiento aún mejor en climas más cálidos y aplicaciones de mayor potencia. Ya sea que simplemente esté ejecutando un software mejorado o esté planeando una actualización de turbo más grande para su automóvil, el intercooler AWE resuelve todos los problemas relacionados con el calor que surgen con un mayor impulso del turbo. Mantener bajas las temperaturas del aire de admisión da como resultado más potencia, mejor estabilidad de la salida del motor cuando aumentan las temperaturas exteriores y el margen de seguridad necesario para llevar el motor al límite. Actualmente no está disponible para vehículos equipados con Audi Drive Select. Tenga en cuenta que el intercooler montado en la parte delantera de AWE Performance es solo para uso en carreras.

This company lies to you. Ordered a 02 sensor from APPD for my C7 Vette. Paid the highest possible courier service for the fastest possible shipping from Newcastle to France. I needed the part urgently. Ordered at the weekend and called them Monday to confirm all was in hand and explained the part was required urgently. Response from APPD yes we've recieved the order and will ship as soon as its been processed. Called every day for the next 7 days to be told yes its been shipped and this is the shipping number. Turned out it took them till Friday ..5 days later to post it and then the package lay at the courier another week or so. APPD lied to me throughout this whole transaction. The package cleared customs in 2 days and should have been with me in just over week and not over 4 weeks. APPD offereed the postage refunded after I had to start a PAYPAL dispute.. This should have been a straight forward simple part delivery.When it goes wrong you shouldn't lie to your customer. A serious compay would refund the customer not try to fuzz the truth and blame everyone else. I refused the postage delivery refund so you can buy some honesty pills and discuss with your team how to avoid more negative service feedback. If your thinking of ordering parts from APPD scroll on and find another supplier. You dont need or want the hassle of dealing with these people.

Over a month waiting on parts and all I get is it will scan soon week after week. Reordered from US so I could finish build and same parts arrived in one week. Waiting to see if they will refund??

placed an order for parts 13th of feb, all listed in stock, got shipping update for label created on the 16th of feb. I have still not received what I ordered and paid for, no updates. I have been getting the same generic answer "order will be fulfilled today" for nearly 2 months now when trying to enquire. Quite disappointing as I have been unable to finish off my car due to waiting on the final fuel system parts for over 2 months now.
