The integration of a Gore-TexÂ® Extended membrane, as well as the upper's composition, make the Mood 2 GTXÂ® versatile and functional, ideal for daily use in spring, summer and fall. Reinforced inserts on toe and heel guarantee excellent impact protection while D30Â® inserts on the shin ensure high levels of comfort and freedom of movement. Stability and riding sensitivity are provided by the GroundtraxÂ® sole, for excellent grip on the pedals even on rainy days. Walking comfort is guaranteed by the special ZplateÂ® insert, whose purpose is to combine longitudinal flexibility following the foot's natural movements with transverse rigidity, for maximum safety if the shoe gets crushed. The integration of the OrtholiteÂ® insole providing breathability and durable cushioning further adds high levels of comfort for everyday use.
